Movado band size chart by model

Movado does not print strap widths anywhere on its own product pages. The Technical Details block on movado.com carries case diameter, case depth, crystal, movement, water resistance and clasp type, and stops there [1]. So the sizes below were built the only reliable way: from Movado's own original replacement band SKUs at official dealers, where the strap name carries the family and the width in one line, cross-checked against independent per-model listings. What emerges is a brand hooked on 21mm, a width most strap shops stock badly: the earlier men's Museum, the BOLD Verso, the Circa, the 42mm Connect 2.0 and the Series 800 Chronograph all take it, and each row below says which surface says so. The rows we could not corroborate a second time are listed as refused, not guessed.

Quick answers: current 40mm Museum Classic strap models take 20mm. Earlier 39mm men's Museum takes 21mm. Women's 28mm Museum takes 18mm. Museum Sport takes 22mm. Men's BOLD takes 22mm, smaller BOLD takes 18mm, BOLD Verso 21mm, BOLD Fusion 26mm. Connect 2.0 takes 20mm at 40mm and 21mm at 42mm. Series 800 Chronograph takes 21mm. Ultra Slim men's takes 20mm. Circa men's takes 21mm. Esperanza and the Series 800 three-hand models are refused below, measure those.

How these sizes are verified, since movado.com will not

Three surfaces do the work the manufacturer's site skips. First, Movado's own replacement straps and bracelets, sold through official dealers like Mastersintime and Holland Watch Group, which print family, SKU and width together: a 569402341 is a Museum 20mm orange leather strap, a 769301117 is a Bold 22mm black leather strap, and the product page adds a measured lug width field [5] [6] [8]. Second, per-model original bands at independent dealers, like the 22mm Museum Sport rubber band printed with the reference numbers it fits [16]. Third, measured references and owner calipers on the watch itself [26] [27]. Total Watch Repair's Movado guide adds the crucial warning for this brand: some Movado bands are straight-end, some curved-end, and some integrated, and the integrated ones only accept the original strap, found by the case number on the back [25]. Every row cites its surfaces; where a row rests on a single leg, it is refused instead.

The 21mm wall

Count the 21mm rows above: earlier Museum, BOLD Verso, Circa, 42mm Connect 2.0, Series 800 Chronograph. Movado is the single heaviest user of 21mm lugs among mainstream brands, and 21mm is the width the generic strap market treats worst; it shares that distinction with Nixon's Patrol and Luminox's 21mm Navy SEAL families covered in their own charts. The practical consequence: a 22mm strap will not compress into 21mm lugs no matter what a forum says, and a 20mm strap leaves a 1mm gap that lets the spring bar slide and saw at the lug holes. Barton and a few others cut dedicated 21mm straps with a 1mm taper, and Movado's own dealer SKUs cover its families, which is often the cleaner buy. If your band's original print is gone, measure between the lugs with the measuring guide before anything else.

The BOLD family splits four ways

No Movado line scatters widths like BOLD, because the name sits on watches from 28mm bangles to 45mm chronographs. The men's core is 22mm [8] [19], the compact line is 18mm [13], the Verso is 21mm [9] and the Fusion is a full 26mm, wider than anything else in this chart [11]. Movado builds the check into the product: the width is printed on the back of the original band, and dealers instruct buyers to match that number rather than the model name [17] [18]. The BOLD TR90 watches (42mm and 44mm on Movado's own collection pages) use Movado's own 22mm TR90 strap line [5] [34], and the Evolution chronograph line carries its own 21mm bracelet SKU [5], so within BOLD even the sub-families do not share.

Connect 2.0: the one family movado.com actually sizes

The Connect 2.0 smartwatch is the exception to the whole page, because its straps are first-party products with the width in the title: 20mm wide quick-release straps that "Fit all 40mm Connect 2.0 models" and 21mm wide ones that "Fit all 42mm Connect 2.0 models", in leather, silicone, fabric, mesh and steel [2] [3] [4]. The split follows the case, not the strap material, so the check is one question: 40 or 42 on the box. Quick-release pins mean no tools. Note the Connect is a Wear OS watch discontinued from current sale pages, but its straps and the sizing logic remain stocked and unambiguous.

Rows we refused to publish

Esperanza: the men's 39mm references conflict across every surface found: a dealer listing measures reference 0607057 with a 19mm bracelet [28], the diamond-marker 0607191 at 20mm [29], eBay parts sellers list men's Esperanza bracelet links at 18mm [31], and the official dealer's Esperanza bracelet SKUs run 12 to 15mm for the women's ladder-link references [30]. With three widths in play and an integrated-feel bracelet, no honest single number exists; measure yours. Series 800 three-hand and diver generations: a genuine Movado 22mm/12mm Series 800 bracelet exists [24], but the official dealer also carries a Series 800 20mm resin strap [12] and eBay shows 20mm link sets for the older 84 C2 1895 diver [32]; the family clearly changed widths across generations, so only the Chronograph row (21mm, two model-specific sources) is published. Fiero: one 20mm tungsten full-link listing on eBay [31], nothing second. Rondiro: a single official-dealer 20mm bracelet, straight mount: no, fitted to four references only [14]. Vizio: a 20mm carbon-insert bracelet SKU [5] against a 24mm Vizio pin listing [31], unresolved. Heritage men's (21mm) and Heritage 1917 (14mm): each seen on one dealer surface only [15] [5]. Edge: original rubber bands exist with case codes but no width printed on any listing found [15]. Harmony: jewelry-clasp parts only, no band width surface at all. All of these take the same advice: read the caseback code and measure between the lugs.

Your Movado is not in the table

Then work from the caseback, not the dial name. Movado engraves a reference like 0606507 on the back, and the newer pieces add a case code in the MO.01.1.14.6146 style that dealers' band finders key on directly [16] [25].
