Luminox band size chart by series

Luminox is a brand where the same name on the dial hides three different lug widths. The Navy SEAL line alone spans 21mm (the Original 3000 series), 23mm (the Colormark 3050 and the 3080 chronos) and 24mm (the 3500 series) [4] [1] [9]. The Pacific Diver is 24mm [7], the Leatherback Sea Turtle is 19mm or 22mm depending on size [8] [5], and the Atacama Field runs 23mm [3]. Every row below carries Luminox's own spec or strap-compatibility statement plus at least one independent dealer surface, and the one place Luminox contradicts itself is flagged rather than smoothed over.

Quick answers: Original Navy SEAL 3000 series (3001, 3003, 3007) takes 21mm. Navy SEAL Colormark 3050 and 3080 chrono take 23mm. Navy SEAL 3500 series takes 24mm. Pacific Diver 3120/3140 takes 24mm. Leatherback Sea Turtle 39mm takes 19mm, Giant 44mm takes 22mm. Atacama Field 1900/1970 takes 23mm. F-117 Nighthawk 6420 takes 23mm. Navy SEAL 4200 (ANU) and Recon 8840 take 23mm. Black OPS Steel 8400 reads 22mm on some Luminox pages and 23mm on others, so measure before ordering.

Check the series number before the size

The number after the family name is the series, and it is the whole answer: a 3051 and a 3501 are both "Navy SEAL" watches two numbers apart that take different straps, 23mm versus 24mm [4] [9]. The series number is printed on the caseback as part of the reference (XS.3051.F, XS.3501.F), which is more reliable than the dial name when you are ordering a strap. The chart: 12 verified rows

The Lug width column is the figure printed in the specifications block of Luminox's own product pages (US, Canadian and UK storefronts), or the width of the replacement strap Luminox itself lists for that series. Where Luminox's pages disagree with each other, the row says so instead of picking a quiet winner. Independent legs are official Luminox dealers and strap retailers carrying the same OEM bands. The 23mm family, and the 3050 trap

The most common Luminox mistake is ordering for the wrong Navy SEAL. The Colormark 3050 series is 23mm at the lugs, printed in Luminox's Canadian spec table for the 3051 [4] and backed by Luminox's own US strap shop, which sells the 23mm FPX.3050 rubber and EPDM bands as the Navy SEAL 3050-series replacement [2]. The 3080 chronographs, the 4200 ANU and the Recon Team Leader 8840 share the width [15] [16]. Against that, the older Original Navy SEAL 3000 series is 21mm [1], and that is where the rounding happens: 21mm is a thin-stock width, so guides and forum answers shove the 3001 onto a 22mm strap. A 22mm strap in 21mm lugs is a millimeter of slop on each side; it will sit, and it will shift. The correct band is Luminox's own FPX.3000 line at 21mm [12] [13], or any third-party 21mm strap, a width several strap makers stock even if the color choice is thinner than 22mm.

Where Luminox contradicts itself, twice

Two rows carry first-party conflicts, and both are worth knowing before you order. The Original Navy SEAL 3000 series: the US product page for the 3001 and the Canadian spec table both print lug width 21mm [1], Luminox UK sells the 21mm FPX.3000 strap "for 3000 series" [12], and official dealers list the same 21mm band for the 3001, 3003 and 3007 [13]. But the Canadian 3001.EVO page's standard-band list prints 22mm bands (FP3000.21Q.2, described as 22mm in that list). The watch-page spec and the UK first-party strap page agree on 21mm, so 21mm is the call; the 22mm entries look like a copy slip in a legacy band chart, which is exactly why this page exists. The second conflict is the Black OPS Steel 8400: two Luminox CA strap pages put the 8400 series at 23mm [15] [19], while the CA velcro strap FNX.3900.26Q puts it at 22mm [20] and a dealer spec for the 8401 carries 22mm. No current Luminox watch-page spec table for the 8400 was found this build, so the row is starred: 23mm is the better-supported read, but measure a 8400 before buying. A 21mm reading on a 3001 and a possible 22mm reading on an 8400 are the two numbers to trust your calipers over.

What Luminox itself sells, by width

Luminox's replacement strap shop sorts by lug width, and the rails tell you which widths the company actually supports: 19mm carries exactly two straps, both Leatherback Sea Turtle [6]; 21mm exists in the Canadian store but not as a US rail; 22mm carries twelve straps, mostly Leatherback Giant and 3000-adjacent [26]; 23mm carries the Navy SEAL 3050/3080/4200, Atacama and F-117 bands [14]; and 24mm is the deepest rail, home of the Pacific Diver, 3500-series and cut-to-fit program [23]. The cut-to-fit system deserves its own note: the 24mm cut-to-fit strap is listed by Luminox as compatible with the Pacific Diver 3120 and 3140 series and any 24mm watch [23], and it solves the length problem on the 180-gram steel 3120-bracelet models for wrists under 7 inches, at the cost of trimming the strap to length, which is irreversible. If your Luminox is not in the table, the caseback reference (the XS. or XL. number) identifies the series, and the band size chart plus a quick measure between the lugs finishes the job.
