TAG Heuer band size chart by model
TAG Heuer is the brand where the generic size charts fall over, for one concrete reason: the official technical specifications publish a Lugs Distance figure that lands on half millimeters for several current cases. The Calibre 5 Carreras are 20.5 and 21.5 mm officially. The Formula 1 Date 41 mm is 19.5 mm on the spec sheet while the strap market sells it as 20 mm. The official dealer strap catalog sells straps in 19.5, 20.5, 21.5 and 22.5 mm widths that most strap makers do not even make. This table prints both numbers for every major family: the official figure, and the strap size that actually fits, with the sources for each. Where honest sources disagree, the row says so instead of averaging.
Find your reference first
The reference number is engraved on the caseback in the format ABC1234.X999 (for example WBP2110.BA0627 or WAZ1110.FT8023). The letters before the digits identify the family: WAR, CAR, WBN, CBS and CBK are Carreras, WBP and WAY are Aquaracers, WAZ, CAZ and WBJ are Formula 1, CAW and CBL are Monaco. Family prefixes alone do not fix the width: two Carrera Calibre 5 39 mm generations are 19 and 20.5 mm respectively, so match the full reference, or type it below [13].
The chart: 13 verified model groups
Two columns matter. Official lug width is the Lugs Distance figure from TAG Heuer's own product specifications (or a verbatim copy of that spec feed on an authorized dealer page). Strap to order is the generic strap width that fits, per independent strap makers and measured listings. When the official figure is a half size, the order size rounds down, the rule strap makers print for exactly this brand [12].

The Formula 1 41 mm row, explained honestly
This is the widest disagreement in the set, and it is not a typo on one side. TAG Heuer's technical specifications print Lugs Distance 19.5 mm for the 41 mm Formula 1 Date case, consistently across the WAZ1118, WAZ111A and WAZ1120 product pages and across authorized dealer copies of the same feed for the WAZ1110.FT8023 [5] [6] [7]. Meanwhile the strap order guides list the WAZ1110 at 20 mm [13], measured marketplace listings say 20 mm [8], and 20 mm is what the aftermarket sells for this case. The likely reading: the true gap sits between the two figures, a 20 mm strap seats with a firm fit, and a 19.5 mm OEM strap is cut for the tight side of the tolerance. We print 19.5 as the official number and 20 mm as the order, and if you want zero doubt, measure your own lugs before ordering [8].
Why half sizes exist, and the round-down rule
Most brands publish whole-millimeter lug widths. TAG Heuer does not, and the official dealer strap catalog reflects it: original TAG Heuer straps are sold in 19.5, 20.5, 21.5 and 22.5 mm widths, with real part numbers behind them. A Formula 1 blue calf strap FC8243 is a 21.5 mm strap [23]; the Aquaracer Premium steel bracelet BA0928 is 20.5 mm [24]; the Carrera bracelet BA0041 is 20.5 mm [25] and BA0657 is 21.5 mm [26]. If you order OEM, order the exact half size. If you order a generic strap, round down: a strap half a millimeter narrow seats fine, a strap half a millimeter wide will not enter the lugs [12]. That is why the Calibre 5 39 takes a 20 on a 20.5 case, and the Calibre 5 41 takes a 21 on a 21.5 case. The odd sizes are hard to find in the generic market, which is worth knowing before you commit to a strap maker that only cuts even widths [12].
Where sources disagree, and the rows we refused to publish
Three candidate rows are deliberately absent. The Autavia Isograph 42 CBE2110: published figures spread across 19, 21 and 22 mm depending on the source, a three-way split with no majority and no manufacturer page we could verify, so we publish nothing for it [13] [15]. The Formula 1 chronograph 44 mm CAZ2011: one order guide says 20 mm, a compatibility table says 22 mm for the same family, unresolvable from public sources [13] [27]. The Carrera Date 36 WBN2310: a single 18 mm figure from one database with no second source [15]. The Formula 1 35 mm WBJ131x case carries 17.59 mm on TAG's own spec pages, but we found no independent confirmation of what generic width actually seats, so it stays out of the table too [28]. If you own one of those four, measure between the lugs; do not trust any single chart, including this one, over your own calipers.
Your reference is not in the table
Then the honest answer is the measuring one, and this site will not invent a width. Pop the spring bar or measure between the lugs where the strap meets the case, in millimeters: the how to measure guide covers the technique, the lug width chart explains what the number means across brands, and the spring bar size table covers the pin you will be handling while you are in there. Two TAG-specific traps worth knowing before you search elsewhere: a half-millimeter reading is normal for this brand, not a measurement error, and dealer spec blocks that copy TAG's feed will repeat the official figure even where the market rounds it, so a 19.5 versus 20 disagreement between two sites is usually the same watch.
