Monta band size chart by model
Monta is the rare brand whose band question has one answer: every product page in the current catalog prints the same two spec lines, Lug Width 20 mm and a lug-to-lug between 47 and 48 mm. We pulled all 20 watch pages fresh from the brand's own store [23], read each spec block, and found zero width exceptions: Noble, Atlas, Triumph, Oceanking, Skyquest, the Noble 40, the Voyager and the one-off Piece Unique are all 20mm watches. No strap retailer charted the brand: watchbands.ai lists 189 brands with no Monta page [25], and search turns up only first-party pages, reviews and one single-model strap shop page that gets the width wrong [26].

One width, four reaches: the real sizing decision
Because the lug width never changes, buying a strap for a Monta is a one-number decision: 20mm. The number that decides how the watch wears is the lug-to-lug, and Monta splits it cleanly by case. The 38.5mm cases, the Atlas in all three dials [1] [2] [3], the classic Noble trio [4] [5] [6] and the Piece Unique [7], all print Lug to Lug 47 mm. The Noble Voyager keeps that 47mm reach on the same 38.5mm case [10] [11]. The Skyquest prints 47.4 mm [20], the Triumph and Noble 40 print 47.8 mm [12] [8], and the Oceanking is the longest at 48 mm [13]. Even the biggest diver stays under 48.1mm, which keeps the whole catalog wearable on mid-size wrists; the thickness spread matters more, 9.7mm on the Noble against 12mm on the Oceanking. The 18mm trap on the Atlas
One strap retailer's Atlas page states, in its own FAQ, The Monta Atlas has a 18mm lug width, and sells 18mm straps as Atlas-compatible [27]. The brand's own Atlas pages print Lug Width 20 mm in the spec block, on all three dials [1] [2] [3]. This is exactly the class of error a first-party chart exists to settle: 18mm is a common width and the page reads plausibly, but an 18mm strap on 20mm lugs is loose by a full millimetre per side and will shift and wear the spring bar ends. If you already own 18mm straps, they are not Atlas straps; buy 20mm. Reviewers who put calipers on delivered Montas report measured widths hovering a few tenths either side of 20, which is normal manufacturing tolerance around a 20mm nominal, not evidence of a different size.
What the brand itself says about straps
Monta does not print a buckle width or a taper figure in its spec blocks, so the 20/16 taper claims you see in strap listings are not first-party verifiable for this brand, and this page does not assert one. Two official statements do exist. The brand's own blog, in its Noble strap guide, writes that because the Noble features conventional lugs and uses standard spring-bars, it can be fitted to almost any traditional 20mm strap; that is a prose line in a blog post, not a spec block, and it is cited here as exactly that [21]. And the factory curved-end leather strap product page specifies We use a 2.0mm spring bar to ensure a perfectly tight fit to the watch [22], a useful number if you buy quick-release straps, since 1.5mm bars are the cheaper default and will sit sloppily between Monta lugs.
A small catalog, deliberately
The products sitemap lists 23 product URLs [23]: 20 watches, two bracelet accessories and the curved-end leather strap, and the live product feed returns the same 23 [24], so nothing in the current catalog is hiding off-menu. Four of the 20 watch references are Oceanking dial and bezel variants and four are Skyquest variants sharing one case each, so the catalog is really five case families. That is the whole current lineup; there is no archive of discontinued pages to recover, unlike the Kurono archive catalog (see the Kurono chart). If Monta adds a model, this page gets rebuilt from the sitemap, and any width exception will be flagged here rather than silently averaged away.
How we verified this
We pulled the sitemap index and all five child sitemaps fresh [23], fetched every one of the 23 live product pages (all returned http 200 at build time, including the two accessory pages, which print no lug specifications and are therefore not chart rows), and read the spec block on each. Every case, thickness, lug-to-lug, lug width, depth rating and rendered price in the table is copied from those pages, never from a dealer, a review or an inherited table. Incumbents were re-checked fresh: watchbands.ai lists 189 brands with no Monta entry [25], and searches for monta lug width, monta band size chart and site:watchband.direct monta by two methods surface first-party pages, reviews and one single-model strap shop page, but no consolidated Monta chart [26]. The one conflicting width claim found, the 18mm Atlas line, is quoted and corrected above [27].
