Xiaomi Band Size Chart for Every Model
Xiaomi is the most misleading brand in the strap aisle, and not because the sizes are complicated. The complication is that almost nothing with a Xiaomi name on it uses the standard spring-bar lug the rest of the watch world runs on. The Mi Band line pops its tracker out of a sleeve. The Band 8, 9 and 10 click into a quick-release connector that looks standard and is not. The Band Pro models and Redmi Watch 4 share Xiaomi's own clip system. Only the Watch S series and Watch 2 use ordinary 22mm lugs, and the few Xiaomi watches that do go standard split their widths: the S4 41mm drops to 18mm and the blood-pressure H1 needs a 28mm cuff strap. This chart lists every model with its mount type, because on a Xiaomi the mount is the purchase decision, not the width.
Xiaomi band size chart: all models, mounts and widths
Width is the strap width a replacement must match where standard fittings apply. Where a model uses a Xiaomi-specific mount, the width column says so, because quoting a lug width for a watch with no lugs is how mis-orders happen. Wrist range is the maker's own adjustable-length figure. Sources per row are in the Sources section.

Honest gaps: the original Redmi Watch (2021), the Redmi Watch 2 (non-Lite) and the first Redmi Smart Band are omitted because their first-party pages are gone and no two independent live sources agree on their widths this build; we do not print guesses. Mi Band 3 has no official width (Xiaomi started printing one only with the Band 4). Mi Watch Revolve shares the global Mi Watch body but Xiaomi never published its strap length range; the 22mm quick-release width is fully sourced below.
The capsule trap: why no standard band fits a Mi Band
Every regular Mi Band and Smart Band before the 8 is a two-part product: a metal-and-glass tracker capsule and a silicone strap with a window the capsule sits in. There are no lugs, no spring bars and no holes for pins. To change the strap you push the capsule out from behind and slip it into a new sleeve. That is why the width column for those rows reads n/a: the number that matters is not a lug width but the exact generation, because sleeve sizes changed just often enough to break compatibility. Xiaomi's own paperwork is the authority here: the Band 4 spec page states the Band 4 accepts Mi Band 3 straps, and the Band 8 FAQ states plainly that its strap is designed separately and is not compatible with other Xiaomi Band products. Fitstraps, a strap retailer that catalogs the whole line, describes the Mi Band system as proprietary, model-specific rather than standard. In practice: Band 2 and 3 sleeves interchange, Band 4, 5 and 6 sleeves interchange, the Band 7 reuses the 5/6 design, and everything from the Band 8 onward is a different mechanism entirely.
The Band 8, 9 and 10 clip: quick-release that is not standard
The Band 8 redesigned the mount. The tracker grew lugs with a press-button quick-release connector, so straps now detach with a fingertip press, exactly like a standard quick-release band. But the connector itself is Xiaomi's own: a standard 22mm or 20mm quick-release band will not attach to a Band 8, 9 or 10. What the new system does give you is cross-generation freedom inside the family: Xiaomi's official Smart Band 10 strap accessories (leather, silk knitted, metal, magnetic) list their compatible devices as Band 10, Band 9 and Band 8, one connector spanning three generations, and accessory retailers echo the same list. The Pro models (7 Pro, 8 Pro, 9 Pro) use a wider clip built on the same idea, and Xiaomi's Quick Release Strap accessory page lists its compatible devices as Smart Band 9 Pro, Smart Band 8 Pro and Redmi Watch 4. That single line from Xiaomi's own store is the most useful compatibility fact on this page: it means Band 8 Pro, 9 Pro and Redmi Watch 4 owners share one strap market, separate from the regular Band 8/9/10 one.
The Watch S line: where Xiaomi finally goes standard 22mm
The round Watch S1 through S4 and the Watch 2 are the easy rows. They use ordinary spring-bar lugs with quick-release pins, so any 22mm quick-release band fits, whatever brand. Xiaomi's own accessory ecosystem confirms it: the official Xiaomi Watch Strap page lists its compatible models as Watch 2, Watch 2 Pro, Watch S3, Watch S1 Pro, Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active, one strap family across the whole line, and nothingbutbands catalogs the same 22mm coverage including the S4 47mm and Watch 5. Two exceptions live inside this line and they are the ones people mis-order. The Watch S4 41mm, the small steel case released alongside the 47mm, takes an 18mm band, and 22mm and 18mm are not interchangeable. And the Watch H1, the blood-pressure watch with the inflatable cuff strap, needs the 28mm cuff-specific strap in M (130-160mm wrists) or L (161-200mm); a standard band defeats the measurement hardware entirely.
Redmi Watch widths: 19, 20 and 22mm, never assume
The Redmi Watch line looks like the Watch S line but mounts differently and splits widths in a way no pattern predicts. Xiaomi's own FAQ figures: the Redmi Watch 2 Lite strap is 22mm wide fitting 135-210mm wrists, the Redmi Watch 3 strap is 19mm, and the Redmi Watch 3 Active is 20mm, with Xiaomi stating explicitly in each FAQ that the watch cannot share straps with other Xiaomi watches. The Redmi Watch 5 and 5 Active land back on 22mm, the 5 Active in Xiaomi's words a 22mm switch-lug quick-release design. And the Redmi Watch 4 skips spring bars altogether for the same proprietary clip as the Band Pro models, which is why Xiaomi's Quick Release Strap lists it alongside the 8 Pro and 9 Pro. The rule for Redmi buyers: check the row, never carry a width from one Redmi generation to the next, and treat any listing that claims one width for the whole Redmi line as wrong.
How to identify your Xiaomi and check a band before buying
Model name first: open Settings, then About, on the watch or band, or check the Mi Fitness app's device page. The name printed there maps directly to one row of the chart. Then look at where the strap meets the case. If the tracker is a pebble sitting in a silicone sleeve, it is a capsule model: buy a sleeve listed for your exact generation. If there is a recessed button on the underside of the case near each strap end, it is a quick-release fitting: press it and the strap slides free. If the case has ordinary horns with a spring bar between them, it takes a standard band of the row's width, and the universal method in the lug width chart applies. The wrist-range column answers the second question, whether the strap is long enough: Xiaomi's published ranges are the in-box TPU strap's limits, and the official accessory pages print their own (a leather Band 10 strap covers 135-210mm, a magnetic one only 140-190mm, so the strap material can shrink the range). To measure your wrist without a tape, see the no-tape method, and the fit guide covers how tight is right.
