Black Corner band size chart by model
Black Corner is a French creative label making watches in strictly limited editions, founded in 2015 in London and Paris [3], and its watch catalog is exactly three models: Sailing Stones, the Neoma Star Nero made with Omnis, and The Wormhole made with Black-Out Watches [7][8]. The three split cleanly across the strap ladder, 18, 20 and 22mm, and one of them tapers. The catch, and the reason no aggregator carries these numbers, is where they live: not in visible spec text and not in any product feed, but inside structured data embedded in the page source with escaped quotes, which text-scrapers never see [1]. Every width below was pulled fresh from the maker's own pages at build, English and French, and the French pages carry their own vocabulary: the width is labeled Entrecorne and the decimal is a comma [2].
The chart: three watches, three widths, one taper, two closed editions
| Model | Lug width | Strap / clasp end | Case | Edition and status | Stated form, and traps |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sailing Stones | 18mm [1] | 316L steel flex/expansion bracelet with no clasp; every bracelet size is 18mm wide [1] | 31.0 × 41.0 mm tonneau [1] | 100 pieces, pre-order open at build, delivery autumn 2026 [1] | Product data carries the pair Lug width with value 18.0 mm under propertyID lugWidth [1], and the prose adds Lug width is 18 mm and the bracelet is a 316L steel flex/expansion bracelet with no clasp [1]. French page: Entrecorne, value 18,0 mm, comma decimal [2]. Miyota 8215 automatic, 5 ATM [1]. Traps: 41.0 is the case length, 24.5 × 28.4 mm the dial opening, and 122, 136, 151 the bracelet lengths [1] |
| Neoma Star Nero (with Omnis) | 20mm [3] | leather strap, deployant clasp [3] | 41 mm steel [3] | 100 numbered, SOLD OUT [3] | Product data carries the pair Lug width with value 20 mm [3], and the served spec block renders Lug width 20 mm in visible text between Weight 90 g and Water resistance 5 ATM [3]. French page: Entrecorne, value 20 mm [4]. Corroborated by the Omnis partner store, whose own listing prints Lug width: 20 mm [9]. F28-12 automatic, 15.2 mm thick, 90 g, 5 ATM [3]. Traps: 15.2 is thickness, 41 the case, 90 the weight in grams [3] |
| The Wormhole (with Black-Out Watches) | 22mm at the lugs [5] | 20mm at the clasp end: the maker's string, quoted verbatim, is 22mm / 20mm tapered [5]; crocodile leather on an ardillon buckle [5] | 41.5mm PVD steel [5] | 88 numbered, SOLD OUT, marked Edition Closed [5] | The maker's data states the whole strap in one value, 22mm / 20mm tapered, quoted here verbatim and never shortened to a two-number shorthand [5]. French page: Entrecorne, value 22 mm / 20 mm dégressif, dégressif meaning tapered [6]. Central flying tourbillon, transformed, tested and assembled in Switzerland [5]. Traps: 41.5mm is the case diameter, 11.5mm the thickness, 120g the weight, 42 the power reserve hours [5] |
Three widths, two of them closed
Status is a column here, not a footnote, because two of the three watches cannot be bought from the maker at build. The Star Nero page says so in the maker's own words, Sold out, 100 numbered pieces, and the page adds that the maker holds no stock, takes no orders and brokers no resales, warning that secondary-market appearances have nothing to do with the house [3]. The Wormhole is blunter: the page carries an Edition Closed banner, the availability is marked SoldOut in its own data, and all 88 numbered pieces are described as claimed [5]. Sailing Stones is the only open model, a pre-order whose page header reads Pre-order €650 · final retail price €790 · 100 pieces · delivery autumn 2026 [1]. For strap shopping this means the 18mm row is the only one that pairs with an incoming watch; the 20mm and 22mm rows are for people who already own one of the closed editions, and both of those deserve a strap worth putting back on a numbered piece.
The numbers that are not widths
Every Black Corner page states more millimeters than the one that matters, and the tonneau case makes Sailing Stones the worst offender: its case value is two numbers at once, 31.0 × 41.0 mm, width and length, and the dial opening is two more, 24.5 × 28.4 mm [1]. None of the four is 18. The Star Nero spec block runs Lug width 20 mm with Weight 90 g before it and Water resistance 5 ATM after [3], where the neighboring 15.2 is the case thickness in millimeters and 90 is grams. The Wormhole lists a Case Diameter of 41.5mm, a Case Thickness of 11.5mm, a Power Reserve of 42 hours and a Weight of 120g around its width line [5]. And the Sailing Stones bracelet sizes, XS 18×122 mm · S 18×136 mm · L 18×151 mm [1], lead with the width and follow with the length, so the 122, 136 and 151 are lengths, never widths. The width column above is fed only by the width-labeled values, everything else stays in its own cell.
Where the numbers live: escaped data, invisible to scrapers
The method note, because it explains the gap this page fills. Black Corner's pages carry the strap data inside structured product markup embedded in the page source, and in the raw HTML that markup arrives with escaped quotes: the sailing-stones source literally contains the pair name Lug width, value 18.0 mm, propertyID lugWidth wrapped in backslash-escaped quotation marks inside a serialized data blob [1]. A scraper that strips tags and reads visible text finds none of it; the Star Nero's served spec block does render Lug width 20 mm as text [3], but the Wormhole's 22mm / 20mm tapered exists only in the data form [5]. That is the structural reason no aggregator carries these widths: they are stated, first-party, and machine-readable only if you unescape the payload first. This chart parsed the escaped data on fresh pulls of all six pages, English and French, at build.
The French mirror: Entrecorne and the comma decimal
Black Corner runs a full French storefront, and it renames the measurement: where the English pages say Lug width, the French pages say Entrecorne, between-the-horns [2]. The values match model for model: Entrecorne 18,0 mm on Sailing Stones with a French comma decimal [2], Entrecorne 20 mm on the Star Nero [4], and Entrecorne 22 mm / 20 mm dégressif on the Wormhole [6], where dégressif is the French trade's word for a tapered strap and preserves the same 22-at-lugs, 20-at-clasp split. Anyone cross-checking the French pages should read 18,0 as 18.0 and not as a different number; the French Star Nero page also marks the edition Épuisée, sold out, at 100 pièces numérotées [4].
The taper cell, quoted verbatim
One string is quoted on this page exactly as the maker wrote it and will never be normalized: 22mm / 20mm tapered [5]. It is tempting to compress it into the strap trade's bare two-number shorthand, but the maker's own phrasing carries the meaning, 22mm at the lug end tapering to 20mm at the clasp end, and the French page confirms the reading with its own two-number form, 22 mm / 20 mm dégressif [6]. Practical reading for a buyer: the Wormhole takes any standard 22mm two-piece strap at the lugs; a replacement meant to mimic the factory crocodile strap should taper 22 to 20 and finish in an ardillon buckle [5]; a straight 22mm strap fits but changes the profile. Neither of the other two watches tapers: the Star Nero's leather strap closes on a deployant at the same 20mm [3], and the Sailing Stones expansion bracelet has no clasp at all [1].
The 15mm watches that are not these watches
Search for Black Corner strap sizes and a French dealer surface appears with a 15mm figure on it. It is a real listing and a real trap. The Watch Gallery sells the Calypso collaborations of Shadows, the watch line of the Black Corner label, built on Anka's Calypso quartz base: rubber-cased 39mm fashion watches, Miyota quartz movements, and a dealer Lug width of 15 mm in the spec block [10]. They share the label's name and none of its mechanical catalog; the maison's three watches run 18, 20 and 22mm, and a 15mm strap fits none of them. Those collab watches are deliberately absent from the chart above: different product line, different movement class, different widths, and charting them would contaminate a clean three-row catalog. If you own one, measure it; it is not covered here.
Why no chart existed
Nobody had consolidated these three widths, including the aggregators that consolidate everyone else's. Search at build surfaces the maker's own pages, the Omnis partner store's Star Nero listing [9], the Black-Out Watches product page for the Wormhole, and the 15mm Calypso collabs on the French dealer [10], all per-model surfaces, none with a table. watchpolice returns a generic shell page with zero lug-width content at /brands/black-corner while its control pages for Seiko, Rolex and Citizen return full lug-width content [11], and its brands sitemap, 950 locations, carries no Black Corner entry in any spelling [12]. watchbands.ai's brand index lists 196 brands at build with Seiko, Rolex and Citizen present and Black Corner absent by slug and by whole-word text [13]. Two independent web searches at build returned no consolidated chart for the brand in either English or French. The escaped-data hiding place did the rest: the widths are first-party stated but invisible to the scraping layer every aggregator runs.
How we verified this
On 2 October 2026 we pulled all three English product pages, all three French product pages, the watches index and the sitemap fresh from the maker's site, and ran the label-vocabulary probe before any parsing: across the six pages the width-stating labels are exactly Lug width and Lug Width in the English data, the served Lug width 20 mm on the Star Nero, and Entrecorne on all three French pages, while the case, dial-opening, thickness, weight, power-reserve, bracelet-length and buckle labels never own a width. Catalog census: the sitemap lists exactly three watch pages per language and the watches index links exactly those three products [7][8], so the chart is 3 of 3, complete, with no not-stated list. Every quoted string on this page was machine-checked verbatim against the saved pulls, escaped forms included. The incumbent walls were re-fired fresh at build, not inherited: the watchpolice slug probes with controls, the 950-location sitemap grep, the watchbands.ai index walk and two web searches, all documented in the sources below.

The lug width chart by brand places Black Corner's 18-20-22 split beside every other brand on this site, and the master band size chart indexes them all. For the Wormhole's second number, the watch strap taper chart decodes what the 20 in the tapered pair means and when to ignore it. The ARC & Co. chart is the other small-catalog chart in this database whose taper lives outside the product page, and the watch database lists every charted brand by width.
