ARC and Co. band size chart by model
ARC & Co. is a Japanese microbrand founded in Osaka in June 2023 [8], and its current catalog is exactly two watches: TYPE ART-DECO, an Art Deco automatic on an 18mm band, and WORLD TIME, a 99-piece world timer on a 20mm band whose steel bracelet tapers to 18mm at the clasp. The maker's catalog feed is the smallest this database has charted, two rows, and it states zero widths of any kind [5]: the ART-DECO row carries case, thickness and lug-to-lug but no width, and the WORLD TIME row carries no millimeter figure at all. Both widths live on the rendered product pages instead, in spec blocks the feed omits, and both were re-pulled and re-verified at build [1][3]. The taper lives on neither: it is printed only on the maker's Kickstarter campaign [6].
The chart: two watches, two widths, one sourced taper
| Model | Lug width | Bracelet at clasp | Case | Lug-to-lug | Thickness | Dial variants and watch-outs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TYPE ART-DECO | 18mm [1] | 18mm, straight [2] | 38.0mm [1] | 45.0mm [1] | 10.7mm [1] | ADA-01: Asymmetrical Tricolor Mirror Dial and ADR-01: Art Deco Roman Numeral Salmon Matte Dial [1], same 18mm. The page states the width twice in two vocabularies: the spec list prints Lug width: 18.0mm [1] and the Dimensions tiles print Lug Width 18.0 mm [2]. The bracelet line reads Clasp: Butterfly clasp / 18mm [1], so the clasp end matches the lug end: no taper is stated anywhere for this watch, and none should be assumed. Movement MIYOTA Premium Automatic Movement Cal. 90S5, water resistance 5 ATM / 50 meters [1] |
| WORLD TIME | 20mm [3] | tapers to 18mm [6] | 38mm [3] | 46.6mm [3] | 11.6mm [3] | WTB-01 Black and WTS-01 Silver [5], same 20mm; an Automatic World Timer Limited to 99 [3]. The page states the width three times: the spec list prints Lug width: 20mm [3], the Case prose runs 38mm diameter / 11.6mm thickness / 46.6mm lug-to-lug / 20mm lug width / 316L stainless steel / Screw-down crown [4], and the Bracelet section repeats 316L stainless steel / 20mm lug width / Double push-button deployant clasp [4]. The taper cell is Kickstarter-sourced, not PDP-sourced: see the taper section below. Movement Caliber: MIYOTA Cal.9039 [3], screw-down crown, 10 ATM class [4] |
The 46.6mm trap, and every other number that is not a width
The WORLD TIME spec block prints four numbers in a row: Case diameter: 38mm, Thickness: 11.6mm, Lug to lug: 46.6mm, Lug width: 20mm [3]. Three of the four are decoys for anyone shopping a strap. The 46.6mm is the lug-to-lug span, the tip-to-tip length of the case; a 46.6mm strap does not exist here, a 20mm one is what fits. The 38mm is the case diameter, identical on both models, and the 11.6mm is the thickness including crystal. TYPE ART-DECO runs the same trap one size down: Case diameter: 38.0mm, Thickness: 10.7mm, Lug to lug: 45.0mm, Lug width: 18.0mm [1], where the decoy is the 45.0mm lug-to-lug. The Kickstarter spec sheet compounds it with a compound sentence of its own: Case Dimension: 38mm Diameter, 11.6mm Thickness (including crystal), 46.6mm Lug to Lug, 20mm Lug Width [6], four figures for two watches' worth of numbers, only the last one a width. This chart keeps width, case, lug-to-lug and thickness in separate columns so no figure migrates into the wrong one.
Where each number lives: feed silent, render speaking, Kickstarter tapering
This catalog splits its evidence across three surfaces, and the split is the method story. The catalog feed, two rows, states zero widths: the ART-DECO body prints Case: 38 mm, Thickness: 10.7 mm and Lug-to-lug: 45.0 mm and stops [5], and the WORLD TIME body prints no dimension at all, only dial names and shipping lines [5]. The rendered product pages carry the full spec blocks, both widths verbatim, re-verified at build against fresh pulls [1][3]. The bracelet taper lives on neither surface: it is printed on the Kickstarter campaign that funded the watch, which is first-party (the maker's own campaign text) but not the store, and the chart's taper cell cites it there and only there. Nothing on this page is backfilled from a retailer, a forum or a consensus table.
The taper: Kickstarter-sourced, and labeled as such
The WORLD TIME product page states 20mm four times and never states 18mm in any strap context. The taper statement is campaign-side: Bracelet: 316L Stainless Steel, Tapering 20mm to 18mm Solid Links & End-Links, 188mm Length (end-link to end-link), Screw-in Removable Links, Engraved Clasp, Double-Push Button Deployment [6]. That line also settles bracelet construction, solid links and end-links, screw-in removable links, and the 188mm end-link-to-end-link length. What it means for shopping: the lugs take any standard 20mm two-piece strap or NATO; a factory-look bracelet replacement is a 20/18, 20mm at the end-links tapering to an 18mm clasp; and a straight 20mm bracelet would fit the lugs but not match the factory profile. The same campaign page states Case Dimension: 38mm Diameter, 11.6mm Thickness (including crystal), 46.6mm Lug to Lug, 20mm Lug Width [6], agreeing with the live product page figure for figure, which is why it is safe to carry the taper from it: every number the two surfaces share, they share exactly.
Japan-designed, China-assembled, shipped from Japan
Both catalog rows carry the same origin block: Design / final inspection: Japan, Assembly / origin: China [5], and the campaign states the same split as Design: Japan and Assembly: China [6]. The movements are Japanese on both watches, a Miyota Cal. 90S5 in the ART-DECO and a Cal. 9039 in the WORLD TIME [1][3]. Shipping is from Japan: both product pages state Tracked Shipping from Japan [2] and the ART-DECO page adds We offer international shipping from Japan with duties and taxes depending on destination [2]. The company itself is Osaka-registered, head office 541-0046 Osaka [8], founded in June 2023 [8]. None of this changes the strap size, but a buyer replacing the bracelet on a 99-piece watch usually wants to know where the watch and its parts actually come from.
A two-watch catalog, charted complete, with ghosts in the index
Two rows is the smallest catalog this site has charted, and the honest framing is completeness, not padding: the live feed returns two products [5], the all-products collection links exactly those two product URLs and no others [7], and both watches state their width on their own pages, so the chart is 2 of 2, feed-exhaustive, with no not-stated list and no inferred variants. One caveat belongs on the record: search engines still surface NEO-VINTAGE pages, FBC01, FBN01, FBR01 and siblings at prices around 180 to 220 euros, that are absent from both the feed and the collection page at build [7]. Those cached rows carried no lug width in their indexed descriptions either, so they are recorded here as retired, not charted, and anyone holding one should measure the lug gap rather than trust a cached page that never stated a width.
Why no chart existed
Nobody has consolidated this catalog, including the aggregators that consolidate everyone else's. Search at build surfaces the maker's own product pages, its about and story pages, and the Kickstarter campaign, all per-model or narrative, none with a size table. watchpolice returns 404 on /brands/arc-and-co and on the alternate form /brands/arc-and-co-watches [9], and its brands sitemap, 950 locations, carries no ARC & Co. entry in any spelling while carrying Seiko, Rolex and Audaz as controls [10]. watchbands.ai's brand index lists 196 brands at build with Seiko, Rolex and Citizen present and ARC & Co. absent by slug and by whole-word text; the nearest slug alphabetically is archimede [11]. The nearest third-party surface of any kind is a microbrand directory card page that lists both watches with case sizes and prices and no widths [12]. The gap this page fills is small but real: both widths, the taper with its source labeled, and the lug-to-lug numbers kept out of the width column.
How we verified this
On 2 October 2026 we pulled the maker's catalog feed fresh, both rendered product pages fresh, and the all-products collection fresh, and ran the label-vocabulary probe before any parsing: across both feed rows and both renders, the width-stating labels are exactly Lug width: (spec lists, twice), Lug Width (spec tiles, once), and 20mm lug width (WORLD TIME prose, twice), while Lug to lug:, Lug-to-lug:, Case diameter:, Case Diameter, Thickness:, Thickness and the Kickstarter Case Dimension line are length and case labels that never own a width. The feed census: 2 rows, 0 width statements, the ART-DECO row carrying three non-width dimensions and the WORLD TIME row carrying none. The render census: 2 of 2 products state a width, 18.0mm and 20mm, every figure quoted on this page machine-checked verbatim against the saved pulls, and the taper checked against the Kickstarter campaign text fetched the same day. The incumbent walls were re-fired fresh at build, not inherited: watchpolice slug probes, the 950-location sitemap grep, the watchbands.ai index walk and two web searches, all documented in the sources below.

The lug width chart by brand places ARC & Co.'s 18-versus-20 split beside every other brand on this site, and the master band size chart indexes them all. For the 20/18 pair on the WORLD TIME bracelet, the watch strap taper chart decodes what the second number means and when to ignore it. The Kurono Tokyo chart is the other Japan-designed small-catalog chart in this database, and the watch database lists every charted brand by width.
