Ollech & Wajs band size chart by model

Ollech & Wajs is one of the easiest brands on this site to buy a strap for: every watch currently sold takes a 20mm strap, and the brand prints the width on its own product pages, line for line, in the TECHNICAL SPECS block [11] [1] [3]. We re-pulled the brand's full catalog feed at build time and charted 50 references below: the current line-up, the retired modern models from the brand's archived pages, and the 1960s historic archive with honestly labeled gaps where the brand never published a width [30]. One exception family (the 8001 integrated bracelet) and one modern 18mm watch (the limited OW 56 M) are called out rather than smoothed over.

Quick answers: every current OW (C-1000 family, Ocean Graph, Early Bird, MK-102, MV-82, M-52, P-104 Selectron, Rallychron, Astrochron, Navichron) takes a 20mm strap. The brand's own strap shop sells only 20mm straps and bracelets [51]. Exceptions: the OW 8001 Tundra and Havana have integrated bracelets with no standard lugs [8] [14], and the retired limited OW 56 M took 18mm [29]. The 1960s archive refs have no published width; measure before ordering.

One width for the modern catalog

OW has standardized on 20mm across a remarkably wide range of cases. The three-hand tool watches (MK-102, MV-82, M-52 family, Early Bird) print 39.5mm x 12.5mm with 48mm lug-to-lug and a 20mm strap [3] [4] [10] [1]. The 1,000m divers (C-1000 family, Ocean Graph) print 39.5mm x 15.8mm, still 20mm [11] [16]. The thick 500m chronographs (Astrochron, Navichron) print 39.5mm x 16.8mm, still 20mm [15] [17]. Even the brand's accessories confirm it: the strap shop lists RAF nylon, Perlon, leather, M-Heritage mesh, S-type beads-of-rice and M-Link bracelets, every one of them 20mm [51]. Independent reviews measure the same: the C-1000 at 20mm lug width [52] [53].

The exceptions: the 8001 and the 56 M

The OW 8001 Tundra and Havana are the one family where a generic 20mm strap will not work. Both use a 39.5mm tonneau case with an integrated oyster-style bracelet, and the brand's spec block lists no strap width at all, only a clasp extendable to 22mm [8] [14]. The Havana's factory nubuck strap is likewise integrated and tapers to 18mm at the buckle. If you need a replacement for an 8001, it is the brand's own integrated parts, not an off-the-shelf strap. The other exception is historical: the limited-edition OW 56 M, a 38mm NOS-hybrid piece limited to 56 watches, shipped on an 18mm mesh bracelet with 45mm lug-to-lug, the only 18mm watch of the modern era [29].

The retired modern lines, still 20mm

OW's retired but recent models keep the same rule, verified on the brand's archived product pages: the 60th-anniversary C-1000 A with its vampire-fang lugs [22], the 2019 P-104 and P-104 S, the only 39mm cases of the modern era and still 20mm [23] [24], the Ocean Graph S [25], Navichron S [26], Astrochron S [27], Rallychron M [28], the M-110 M and AS at 47.5mm lug-to-lug [18] [19], and the 350CI and 350CI S [20] [21]. All take ordinary 20mm two-piece straps or the brand's 20mm bracelets.

The 1960s archive: honest gaps, not guesses

The historic section of ow-watch.com is the deepest first-party archive of any microbrand we have charted, but its spec blocks stop at case dimensions: the original Caribbean 1000 of 1964 [30], the Caribbean Oceangraph [31], the 1959 OW Diver [32], the ref. 105 Worldtime Diver that Vietnam-era soldiers mail-ordered [33], the US Airforce and US Navy branch-insignia watches [34] [35], and the chronograph family from the Chronographe Precision to the Navitimer-derived Aviation models [39] [47] [46]. None publishes a strap width. We chart those rows as not published rather than inferring a number from case size; if you own one, the measuring guide's caliper method settles it in a minute, and the how to measure page shows how. The modern recreations are the safe purchases: the current C-1000 family is the direct descendant of the Caribbean 1000 and is unambiguously 20mm [11] [52].

Straps and bracelets: what 20mm buys you

Because the whole modern catalog shares one width, any 20mm strap in the brand's shop fits any current watch: the one-piece RAF nylon bands, the Slovenian-woven Perlon, the Italian leather and linen two-pieces, the M-Heritage mesh and the S-type beads-of-rice [51]. Reviews note the C-1000's drilled lugs make strap changes a spring-bar-tool job [53]. How we verified this

The current catalog was re-pulled at build time from the brand's own Atom feed (17 watch entries, every TECHNICAL SPECS block parsed first-party) [11] [1]. The retired modern lines were verified against the brand's archived official product pages rather than dealer listings or forum measurements [22] [23] [18]. The historic archive pages were parsed the same way, and where the brand does not publish a width the row says so [30]. Two independent review measurements corroborate the C-1000 family at 20mm [52] [53]. Nothing in the table is inferred from case size alone.
