Halios band size chart by model

Halios is a one-width brand with one historical exception. Every watch the Vancouver microbrand sells today prints the same line on its product page: 20mm lug width [1] [2] [3]. The brand's own strap shop is built around that number, selling one rubber strap dimensioned at 20mm at the lugs [12]. We charted the current catalog plus every retired line recoverable from the brand's archived pages: 10 references below, every width from Halios's own copy, none guessed. The exception is the Puck, the 48mm monster diver of the mid 2010s, which took 24mm straps [11].

Quick answers: every current Halios (Seaforth IV, Universa II, Universa II enamel) takes a 20mm strap [1] [2]. So does every retired one except the Puck at 24mm. The differences that matter are in the lug-to-lug column: 48mm on the older Seaforth generations and the Universa, 46.5mm on the Series IV Seaforths. The Seaforth IV also ships only on rubber; Halios has never made a bracelet for that line.

One width, three case sizes

The current catalog runs 38mm (Universa II [2]), 40 or 41mm depending on bezel (Seaforth IV [1]), and that is the whole spread. Halios puts the same 20mm strap on a 38mm dress-forward case and a 41mm titanium diver, which is a wider case-to-strap range than most brands allow themselves. The ratio trap runs the other way at the small end: a Universa II owner might assume an 18mm strap from the case size alone, and 18mm would rattle in the 20mm gap. Measure or read the row, do not scale from the dial.

The Seaforth generations: same strap, shorter lugs

The Seaforth is Halios's longest-running platform and the model most strap buyers search for, so its generation map matters. The 2016 original printed 40mm (fixed bezel) or 41mm (rotating bezel) with 48mm lug-to-lug and 20mm lugs [4], and Worn & Wound's independent review of that watch confirms the 20mm width on the 41mm case [14]. The Seaforth GMT kept every dimension and swapped in an ETA 2893-2 [5]; the bronze Seaforth B kept them too, in aluminium nickel bronze [6]. The Series IV, first released in 2022, shortened the case to 46.5mm lug-to-lug [7] [8], and the current titanium Seaforth IV holds those dimensions [1]. Strap width never moved across a decade of Seaforths: 20mm in 2016, 20mm now.

The 24mm exception: the Puck

Exactly one Halios breaks the 20mm rule. The Puck, retired since the mid 2010s, was a 48mm-with-crown, 50 ATM diver with 14.5mm of thickness, and its product page printed 24mm lug width [11]. Its lug-to-lug was 48mm, the same as the far smaller Seaforth generations, which is why it wore better than its diameter suggested. Puck owners shopping straps need the less common 24mm size; every other Halios ever made takes 20mm.

What ships in the box, and the bracelet question

The current Seaforth IV ships on the brand's FKM rubber strap, dimensioned by Halios at 20mm lug width, 115mm on the long side, 80mm on the short side, tapering to an 18mm buckle, with quick-release spring bars [12]. The Universa line has shipped on steel bracelets since the first generation, which carried the same 20mm lugs and 48mm lug-to-lug in a thinner 11mm case on a push-pull crown [9]. Two practical notes follow. First, Halios has never offered a bracelet for the Seaforth, so Seaforth owners wanting steel are buying the standard 20mm aftermarket. Second, the drilled lugs and standard spring bars across the line mean ordinary two-piece and NATO straps fit everything here without adapters, 24mm for the Puck and 20mm for the rest.

How we verified this

The current catalog is three watches, and their product pages print the full spec list server-side, so every width above was read directly from live first-party pages [1] [2] [3] [12]. The retired lines were recovered from the brand's own product pages preserved in the Internet Archive, one capture per model, and the spec lines were lifted verbatim rather than inferred from case size [4] [5] [6] [7] [9] [10] [11]. Where an independent source exists it is cited as a cross-check, not as the basis: Worn & Wound's Seaforth review spec table [14] and an independent Fairwind reference page that carries the same 39mm, 48mm, 20mm figures [13]. One conflict is worth flagging: a 2016 launch review measured the original Seaforth at 22mm, and we rejected it in favor of the brand's own printed 20mm for that same watch, corroborated by the independent spec table. Nothing in the table is scaled from diameter.
