Waldor & Co band size chart: eight widths across 69 watch pages, and the case size tells you none of them

Waldor & Co prints a lug width on every watch page it publishes, and the number does not follow the case: the Montel 40 sits on 22mm lugs while the Original 40 and the Constant 40 sit on 20mm [2], and inside the Chrono 39 family the number splits 20mm and 22mm [4]. All 69 watch rows in the brand's product feed carry a stated width, spread across eight values from 10mm on the Venia to 24mm on the Chrono 48, and this page tables every family verbatim [1]. A buyer who orders by case size alone will buy the wrong strap somewhere in this catalog.

Scope, stated up front

The Waldor & Co product feed carries 149 rows [1]. 69 are watches, and every one of them states its width in its Specifications block, quoted in the table below. 12 are loose straps sold by width, and the remaining 68 rows are the jewelry half of the store: 58 bangle, chain, ring, necklace and earring products plus 10 accessory and service rows, none of which states a watch band width. They are out of scope, and marked not stated by maker wherever they touch this page's claims. Two of those 68 deserve honesty rather than silence: the Dual Bangle Watch and Dual Bangle Watch Set rows are bangle watches, and they do print a figure, Lug width: 6 mm, which belongs to their bangle construction. They are counted with the jewelry, and no width in the chart comes from them.

Rendered fresh on the Pavè Gold Brown page
Constant 36 (5 pages)Case diameter: 29x35 mm16mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 16 mm on all 5 rows: both Laglios, both Menaggios and the Silver Gold Set [1]. The case is a rectangular two-number print, 29x35 mm, and neither number is a strap size
Constant 40 (5 pages)Case diameter : 37*45 mm20mmLug width: 20 mm Packaging: on all 5 rows (three Leccos, two Tremezzos) [1]. The case print uses an asterisk separator, 37*45 mm. Same family name as the Constant 36, four millimeters more width at the lugs
Chrono 36 (1 page)Case diameter : 36 mm18mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 18 mm, chrono-36-sardinia-silver-turquoise, the only Chrono 36 row in the feed [1]. The one 18mm watch in the catalog
Chrono 39 (9 pages)Case diameter : 39 mm20mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 20 mm on 9 of the 10 chrono-39 rows: the six Sardinias (silver-turquoise, silver-blue, silver-green, silver-black, green-leather, blue-leather), both Porto Cervos and chrono-39-silver-set-4, which is titled Chrono 39 Silver Set [1] [4]
Chrono 39 Silver Set, the split row (1 page)Case diameter : 44 mm22mmThe handle is chrono-39-silver-set-2 but the page is titled Chrono 44 Silver Set and the body prints Case diameter : 44 mm ... Strap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 22 mm Packaging:, rendered fresh [4]. A 44mm watch sold under a 39 handle: recorded as its own row, not normalized into either family
Chrono 44 (8 pages)Case diameter : 44 mm22mmLug width: 22 mm on all 8 rows: both Comos, five Sardinias and chrono-44-silver-set [1]. One row (chrono-44-sardinia-blue-leather) drops the s, printing Onesize, fit all wrists; the width line itself is identical
Chrono 48 (1 page)Case diameter : 48 mm24mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 24 mm, chrono-48-sardinia, the only 24mm watch in the catalog [1]
Avant 39 (2 pages)Case diameter : 39 mm20mmBoth Eze rows print Lug width: 20 mm [1]. The Gold row drops the Strap prefix, printing Size: Onesize, fits all wrists; the Silver row keeps it. Width identical
Avant 42 (4 pages)Case diameter : 42 mm20mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 20 mm on all 4 rows: both Cap Malas and both sets [1]. Three millimeters more case than the Avant 39, the same 20mm width
Montel 40 (2 pages)Case diameter : 35x40mm22mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 22 mm Packaging: on both Camogli rows, rendered fresh [2]. The case print runs the numbers together, 35x40mm with no space before mm
Original 40 (3 pages)Case diameter : 40 mm20mmAll three Côte d'Azur rows print Lug width: 20 mm [1]. The leather row words the size line differently, Size: Onesize, fits wrists of all sizes; the width figure is the same
Continual 39 (2 pages)Case diameter : 39 mm20mmBoth Amalfi rows print Lug width: 20 mm [1]. A third 39mm-round family alongside Chrono 39 and Avant 39, all three at 20mm except the split row noted above
Conceptual 37 (1 page)Case diameter : 29*43 mm20mmLug width: 20 mm on conceptual-37-antibes-blue [1]. A rectangular cushion case printed with the asterisk separator, 29*43 mm; neither number is the strap size
Imperial 32 (3 pages)Case diameter: 32 mm16mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 16 mm on all 3 rows [1]. A 32mm round case on 16mm lugs, the same width as the rectangular 28x32 mm Delight
Delight 32 (4 pages)Case diameter: 28x32 mm16mmLug width: 16 mm on all 4 rows: both Chelseas and both silver sets [1]. The 28x32 mm print is the case, not the strap
Garbo 24 (1 page)Case diameter: 24x30 mm12mmStrap size: Onesize, fits all wrists Lug width: 12 mm, garbo-24-stockholm [1]. The narrowest strap on a round-numbered family in the catalog
Venia 24 (3 pages)Case diameter: 24 mm10mmAll three Villefranche rows print 10mm [1]. Two of them run the number into the unit, Lug width: 10mm without a space, the third prints Lug width: 10 mm. Same width either way

Seventeen families, 69 watch rows, eight widths: 14mm x14, 16mm x12, 20mm x26, 22mm x11, 10mm x3, and one row each at 12mm, 18mm and 24mm, recomputed from the census and not counted by eye [1]. The split row means the Chrono 39 line accounts for both a 20mm population of nine pages and a single 22mm page sold under a 39 handle [4]. No width in the table is inferred from a case diameter, a strap product name, or the family's other rows.

Width does not follow case size

Three collisions in this catalog break every case-size rule of thumb at once. At the 40mm class, the Montel 40 prints Case diameter : 35x40mm and Lug width: 22 mm [2] while the Original 40 (Case diameter : 40 mm) and the Constant 40 (Case diameter : 37*45 mm) both print 20mm [1]: same class of watch, three case prints, two answers. In the 36 class, the Constant 36's rectangular 29x35 mm case carries 16mm while the Chrono 36's 36mm round case carries 18mm. And the rectangular prints cannot be read as widths at all: the Eternal 22's 22x2 6 mm (the stray space is in the feed on 12 of 14 rows), the Delight 32's 28x32 mm and the Conceptual 37's 29*43 mm are case dimensions, none of them a strap size [3]. The FAQ's own words, that the watches come in two sizes to account for various wrist thicknesses [7], refer to wrist fit, not lugs; the feed carries eight widths.

The Chrono 39 split, and the handle that is not a 39

Nine chrono-39 rows print Lug width: 20 mm, among them chrono-39-silver-set-4, a page titled Chrono 39 Silver Set [4]. The tenth, chrono-39-silver-set-2, is titled Chrono 44 Silver Set and prints Case diameter : 44 mm and Lug width: 22 mm, verified in the raw feed and again on a fresh render [4]. The number in a Waldor handle is therefore not a reliable case size either, let alone a width. This chart records the row as published, on its own line, rather than normalizing it into either family.

What the strap shelf corroborates, and where it stops

The brand's own strap shop sells 12 loose straps and only three widths: seven at 20mm, three at 22mm and two at 16mm [1]. That shelf covers the 20mm families (Constant 40, Chrono 39, Avant, Original, Continual, Conceptual), the 22mm families (Chrono 44, Montel 40) and the 16mm watches (Constant 36, Imperial 32, Delight 32). It sells nothing at 10, 12, 14, 18 or 24mm, so Venia, Garbo, Eternal, Chrono 36 and Chrono 48 owners cannot buy from the first-party shelf at all. The FAQ line that all our watch straps are interchangeable and can be removed and replaced easily using only one's fingers [7] describes tool-free spring bars, not one-size-fits-all straps: interchangeability stops at the width line.

Why no incumbent chart exists

Waldor & Co publishes six sizing-titled pages and none of them states a lug width [5]. The Watch Sizing Guide is seven steps for pushing pins out of a metal link band [6]; adjust-watch-band and securing-mesh-strap-clasp cover mesh clasp adjustment; size-chart and size-chart-1 render as empty shells; size-chart-dual-bangle tells you to wrap a measuring tape around your wrist and pick XS/S or M/L [5]. The FAQ answers wrist-comfort questions [7]. A method-B web search re-run on 1 October 2026 surfaces no third-party lug width chart for the brand, only generic strap-sizing guides and the brand's own link-adjustment pages. The watchbands.ai brand index, pulled fresh with Seiko, Citizen, Rolex, Omega and Tudor controls firing across 193 brands, does not list Waldor at all [8]. The table above is the first complete one.

How this chart was checked

At build time, 1 October 2026, the product feed was re-pulled fresh (149 rows, raw sha16 e2e8ac13f1fb6f4c) and the 69-row watch census re-run against it [1]. Three product pages were rendered fresh as controls, one Montel 40, one Eternal 22 and the split row chrono-39-silver-set-2, and each printed its width line server-rendered verbatim [2] [3] [4]. The pages sitemap was re-pulled (84 pages) and every sizing-titled page in it was fetched and checked for width content [5]. Every quotation on this page was machine-matched as a contiguous run against the bytes it came from, and every count in every sentence was recomputed from the final census rather than counted by eye. For the brand universe around it, the watch band size chart carries Waldor & Co beside every other brand charted here, and the lug width chart by brand holds the expanded per-brand table.
