Read the 29 rows as four classes. The 35mm quartz and manual watches (Movement Paulin ETA F06.105, or ETA 7001 on the manuals) all print 40mm over the lugs and 18mm at the strap ^[3]^[5]. The 39mm automatics (Movement La Joux-Perret G101) all print 45mm over the lugs and 20mm at the strap ^[4]. The Neo range is the exception that proves the case rule wrong: a 38mm automatic (Movement Automatic Seiko NH35A, modified to remove the ghost date position) that stays at 18mm across all six references including both GMTs ^[27]^[28]. And the Mara, a 39.7mm G101 diver, takes 20mm with 48mm over the lugs ^[30].

The trap: one range name, two widths

Buy a Modul by its range name and you have a coin flip on the strap. The Modul A Quartz is an 18mm watch and the Modul A Automatic is a 20mm watch, and the same split runs through Modul B, Modul C and Modul D ^[3]^[4]. Modul E is the same story: the E Quartz and E Manual pages print the 18mm line and the E Automatic prints the 20mm one ^[15]^[16]. Two consequences fall out of that table. The mesh stops at 18mm, so the 20mm half of the catalog (every automatic Modul, every OH no Automatic, both Maras) has no first-party Milanese option at all. The bridle leather runs the other way, 20mm only, so the 18mm half has no Clayton's Tannery option. The suede and cordovan pages carry a taper note on the 20mm size only: The 20mm strap is tapered by 2mm from watch to buckle on the suede ^[35] and The 20mm straps are slightly tapered by 2mm from watch to buckle on the cordovan ^[36]; the watch strap taper chart decodes what that second number means in a listing. The Mara ships with factory straps already: Each watch is accompanied by two 20mm straps ^[30]. One mesh detail worth checking before checkout: the page copy names 12mm and 18mm, but at build time the variant menu on that page sold only 18mm options, in stainless steel, PVD gunmetal and PVD rose gold ^[33]. The 12mm size in the sentence serves the wall-clock side of the catalog, not the watches.

The lug-to-lug trap, in both directions

The merchant feed was re-pulled fresh at build time, 41 products with page two returning an empty products array ^[1]^[2], and it still carries zero strap-width text in any product body, which is why every width above is watch-side. All 29 watch product pages in the feed were then rendered fresh, one per product, and every spec line in the table was machine-matched as a contiguous verbatim run against its own page before this page was written ^[3]. The five strap pages were pulled the same way and their sentences matched verbatim ^[33]. One correction is disclosed rather than hidden: earlier partial research on this catalog rendered only seven of the 29 pages and read the split as running by range, Modul A through D at 18mm and Modul E at 20mm. The full render shows the split runs by movement instead; the range-level reading was wrong for nine watches, seven automatics it called 18mm and two 35mm Modul E watches it called 20mm, and this chart uses the complete 29-page basis, not the partial one.
