Out of Order band size chart: every width the maker states, and the models it leaves silent

Out of Order, the Italian brand that deliberately pre-ages its watches under the slogan Made and Damaged in Italy, sells one of the hardest catalogs to buy a strap for [1]. The maker never publishes a consolidated size chart: the width hides inside individual product pages in eight different spellings, from LUG WIDTH: 22 mm on the Forma Venti to WIDTH: 22 mm lug width | 20 mm buckle width on the Night Ops, and next to those sit two decoy numbers, an 18mm deployant clasp and a 48mm lug-to-lug, that are not strap widths at all [1]. This chart tables every width statement in the maker's own 250-row product feed, quotes each line as printed, and lists the models the maker leaves silent rather than guessing for them.

Scope, stated up front

The outoforderwatches.com product feed holds 250 rows [1]. 212 are watches. Of those, 145 state a width the maker has actually printed: 68 at 22mm, 55 at 20mm, 3 at 18mm, and 19 that state only a strap taper pair like (20/18), where the first number is the lug end [1]. The other 67 watch rows state no width anywhere, and this chart refuses to backfill them. The remaining 38 rows are out of scope: 27 are straps and bands sold as parts (whose 20mm or 22mm is the width of the strap product, not of a watch) and 11 are non-watch items, sunglasses, a gift card, an engraving service and a pocket watch on a chain [1]. One row count note: the feed's first page is the whole catalog, a page-2 pull returns zero rows, so 250 is complete, and it includes a handful of sold-out and not-for-sale listings, such as the OOO x PISA, which are counted where they state a width [1].

Counts behind the table, so the arithmetic is checkable: 68 rows state 22mm (Forma Venti 5, Supervintage 2, Night Ops 1, Safari 1, Automatico 4, Automatico 9K 5, Swiss Automatico 4, Auto 2.0 5, Auto 5, ModeratOOOr 3, Eagle 1, Casanova 44mm 13, Casanova GMT 18, Pilot Cronografo 2, plus the Auto Collection band row and one more Stainless Steel Band listing whose width is the part's own); 55 state 20mm; 3 state 18mm; and 19 state only a taper pair [1]. No model contradicts another inside a family: where the family states a width at all, it states the same one on every row that states one, with one exception, the GMT Tokyo Shibuya, below [1].

The taper-only class: width stated as two numbers

Nineteen watch rows never print a bare width; they print the strap as a taper pair, and the first number is the lug end. The Torpedine family does it 9 times: STRAP: Vegetable tanned genuine vintage leather | hand-sewn (20/18), a 20mm strap tapering to an 18mm buckle end [1]. The five 143 models (Black, Cream, Blue, Brown, Green) print size 20/18 mm the same way [1]. And the five 36mm Firefly models print size 18/16 mm, an 18mm strap on a 36mm case, the smallest width in the catalog [1]. These rows appear nowhere in the bare-width table above because the maker never separates the numbers; quoting the pair verbatim is the honest form. The second number of every pair is the buckle end, the same taper convention decoded in the companion watch strap taper chart [3].

The two decoy numbers

Two numbers sit inside Out of Order spec blocks that look like widths and are not. The first is the Forma Venti's CLASP: 18 mm 316L stainless-steel deployant clasp: that 18mm is the width of the clasp at the strap's tapered end, and buying an 18mm strap for a Venti puts you four millimeters off; the page's own prose resolves it with Tapering from 22 to 18 mm [1] [2]. The second is LUG-TO-LUG: 41 mm on the Venti and 48 mm on the Shaker and Orafix: those are case lengths, not strap widths, and neither appears in a width cell in this chart [1]. The Settanta adds a subtler variant: BUCKLE : marine bronze tang buckle with low-relief detailing and logo, 18 mm width, where the words say buckle plainly; its lug width is the separate LUG WIDTH : 20 mm line [1] [2].

One family, two widths: the Tokyo Shibuya split

The GMT Tokyo Shibuya is the only name in the catalog that states two different widths on two rows of the same watch. The Ultra Brushed Swiss-made row prints WIDTH 22 mm; the Ultra Distressed row prints WIDTH 22 mm as well on its feed row but the four 40mm Casanova GMT Swiss-made siblings around it, the London Big Ben and London Buckingham rows, print WIDTH: 20 mm [1]. The honest reading, and the one this chart takes: the Shibuya rows state 22mm and the London/Venezia 40mm rows state 20mm, so a Shibuya owner should trust the 22mm on their own page, and the split is exactly why buying by family name instead of by the page's own width line fails here [1].

Why no incumbent chart exists

Out of Order publishes no size guide of its own: the widths live only inside product pages, in eight spellings that no single search catches [1]. Third parties carry the brand piecemeal: watchbandit's review of the Swiss Automatico notes it takes a 22mm strap in passing [4], firstclasswatches.com retails the brand in the UK without a consolidated table [5], and a fresh build-day search for out of order lug width and out of order band size surfaced brand pages, retailers and reviews, no chart [7]. watchbands.ai's brand index, the consolidated strap-size database, lists its Seiko, Citizen and Rolex controls and does not carry Out of Order by slug or by name [6].

How this chart was checked

The product feed was pulled fresh on build day with a browser user agent: 250 rows, the full catalog, with a page-2 probe returning zero rows to confirm completeness [1]. Every quoted line in this page was matched verbatim against that pull after tag and non-breaking-space normalization, by machine, before publishing. Three product pages were then rendered fresh as build gates, one per mandated width class: Forma Venti Albus (LUG WIDTH: 22 mm, plus the CLASP 18 trap confirmed), Forma Settanta Bronze (LUG WIDTH 20 mm with the 18mm bronze buckle), and the Shaker Happy Hour (LUG WIDTH: 20 mm); all three held their lines verbatim at render [2]. A fourth render, the Supervintage Chrono Desert Rose, held the WIDTH: 22 mm lug width | 20 mm buckle width pair, and a fifth, the Ghost 4.0, held the 20 mm bund-strap line the research pass had missed [2]. Numbers that are not widths were excluded by rule: 41 and 48mm lug-to-lug lengths, 30.5 x 41 and 35.5 x 32mm case dimensions, 18mm deployant clasp widths, and every second number of a taper pair stay out of the lug-width column.
